This is the valance I crocheted for my daughter's nursery. It is a very simple design that is fun for a kid's room.

I never thought of that. Cool! Did you decrease the part that wraps around or just keep going with the triangle?

when I got the pendant to be the length I wanted I stopped increasing and did about 4 rows of dc. I folded those last four rows over and whipstitched to make an opening for the rod. I whipped little x's to make it cuter.
