Granny Square Pattern

Thia

Question

I am new to making gs's and I am stumped as to the next part. I have round 1 done, but can't get the beginning of round two.

"sl st to ch 2 corner space" Slip stich to where? I know it says slip stich to chain 2 corner space? But where is that? Help is MOST appreciated. I think once I learn this, I will be addicted to making these.

When it says slip st to corner ch 2 space, that means you slip st in each dc before the ch 2 space, then sl st around the ch of the ch2 space. You then begin the next round.

This keeps you starting in the corner each time.

Yup, once you get the hang, you'll be addicted.

Pattie, thanks for that link, I really think that will help. Everyone has been helpful actually, but the pictures there are helping me understand better. I can't get the yarn out right now due to my kidlets (they like my yarn too iykwim), but I can't wait for later.

I'm also pretty new to crochet, I've taught myself just by what I could find for free online, and I have to say that Crochet Cabana has got to have the best instructions / pics I can find. That place is great!:clap
