I saw a pattern that calls for this and I can't find it on the net. Is it discontinued?

I don't see it on the red heart site. On the red heart site they do list red heart grande, maybe that's what they meant? I don't recall seeing anything in the stores here called red heart chunky, just the bernat stuff. Mary

Here's the pattern. It calls for an N hook, so maybe I could sub another bulky yarn.

Maybe you could email the author....that's all I can think of. If you can't find it then it is probably discontinued, or the author wrote down the wrong name of the yarn.

The pattern was put up in 2000, so RH chunky was probably available.

That is pretty. I am saving that and will try it with two strands of carron simply soft. I see the pattern is by Priscilla Hewitt. I came across her patterns a while ago and now when I try to get to her main page it says it has moved and the new link doesn't work. I hope she puts it back up again because I thought I have saved a nice book cover tote she had and now I can't find it. She had so many nice patterns on her main site. Mary!
