Hairpin Lace Ribbon Shawl

Here is a hairpin lace shawl I made for the secret pal swap, she has it now so I can show my photos. It is made with Moda Dea ribbon yarn. I love the sueded feel of the ribbon but I'd like to try it again with a thinner yarn to make it lighter and lacier. (Pics are clickable)

 

 

 

The hairpin loom is a nice thing to take along to work on. The ones I purchased were only about $2 each so I bought enough to keep the loops on the their looms until I finished all of them. That way they didn't get tangled and wrinkled.
