Slippers...specifically "Yo Mama's Big Fat Booties"...adore making them! Love the pattern and the name is sooooo much fun to say to people!

I'm currently knitting Breeze with KP's Risata. Anyone has tips on picking up stitches for the gusset without holes? I get unsightly holes near the cuff and they're so awful!

Not a very exciting project but my tension has improved a lot! Doing the scarf in Stockinette stitch: How do I get the sides to look better?

 

 

I signed up for a class tomorrow but I may by the only one in there. So it might get canceled. I may register a friend too, and pay for her to attend.

Some knitters have recommended slipping the first stitch instead of knitting it to neaten the edges. Others have suggested knitting the first stitch and tightening it a little before knitting the second.

Scarf the pattern free on the label Bernat self striping yarn. a k 2, p2 reapeat for 70". Very easy but you can't have but 1 glass of wine so you can keep up with the pattern.
