63 Squares Crochet Along

That is my kitty in the pic, Rebecca. Well, one of them anyway. He's my little boy, Smokey, and he's just the sweetest. Even after having been infected with the toxoplasmosis parasite and losing the majority of his sight and nearly dying on us last year. His personality is altered a bit, but he's still my sweet little boy.:hug Maybe it's just the angle of the picture?:thinking1

That was one of the first pictures I took of him when he decided to adopt us. He's definitely a Momma's boy. :lol I also have 2 sweet girls who are just a tad older than him - I posted the link to their web pages in the OT forum.

<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rofl.gif" />, Rebecca--that is totally something I would do [the supervising, not the edging]--I think my motivation for cleaning is low, until I see how my 10yo daughter "cleans"--good LORD!

Now if could only motivate myself to edge my 30 some squares that are piled up.....

Hi all, I'm back to doing squares again. The distraction of trying to finish those towel toppers is nearly over. Finished another square last night, but I'm not going in any order. I wanted something I could work on while reviewing a video (recorded for my brother in another state who doesn't have Sci Fi channel) before sending it. I found most of the square patterns to be too complicated to be distracted by a TV. Hmmm... That should learn me!

Rebecca, after seeing your list of items you are working on (and you have several kids), I can't imagine you getting all that done before the end of the year! now, this could be because I have multiple hobbies....but still!

I'm up to 11 squares now. My goal is to have the squares done by the end of November, but there is no real deadline on this. Just want to finish by the end of the year.

Who does 2 afghans a year and this year's are the knitted ladybug and this one!

<span style="font-family:courier; color:maroon;font-size:medium;">Hello! I am new to this forum and I love to crochet! My mother and I have started this pattern and are loving every minute of it!</span> <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/knit.gif" />

Okay, I don't know what's come over me,

but I'm not crazy about the color scheme I chose <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/shrug.gif" />

I look at everybody else's squares and don't care for mine anymore... I've only completed 4 1/2 squares so it wouldn't be a big deal if I start over; plus I haven't bought all the skeins needed yet.

Hmm, I think I might go to JoAnn's tomorrow <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/wow.gif" /> but still don't know what colors I want. We'll have to see.

And I'll let you know what I decide!<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/scratchchin.gif" />

Jayme, I love your color scheme, but I understand ya! :wink If you're not crazy about it, you're not crazy about it. Actually, I've been feeling a bit unhappy with my color scheme lately, which possibly is why I haven't been working on it much. I'm thinking of replacing my aran with deep coralberry. Then I would have pale coralberry, coralberry, and deep coralberry. I haven't decided for sure, yet, though. :thinking2

I think either way Donna, it'll look beautiful.

I have some skeins of TLC Aran left over from my rugs (actually, I think I bought too many, I now have 4 extra skeins!) <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif" />

Well, I'll see what pops out at me tomorrow at JoAnn's... maybe something to match the Aran.

Thanks for the compliments though,... I also think that's why I haven't been working on it, don't like the colors <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/thumbsdown.gif" />
