Before DH won me the pattern for the Indian Blanket, I had decided that I would try to find Native American beadwork patterns that would look good stitched, and try to design my own Southwest Indian-style blanket to crochet. I still may do that one of these days. HOWEVER, while I was looking for beadwork patterns, I found this amazing site that has this nifty little thing for designing patterns that I thought that some of y'all who like to create your own designs might enjoy! NativeTech: Native American Beadwork All you do is click in the little circle next to the color you want to use, and then click the individual "beads" on the graph below that you want to be that color! That way you can work out your own patterns on a graph beforehand to use as a stitch guide! Whoever made that site had a really great idea!
