    opinion? AMI

I totally love it!! I love sea stuff especially mermaids--I will be bidding on that for sure.
  2. I ordered the Molly Weasley sweater pattern today--I can't wait to get it started!!
  3. I would like to join this cal---there are so many cool things you all have made---I just don't know where to start!!
  4. great bag and I love the lining! :clap
  5. I love your scarf collection!! I wish I lived somewhere it got cold enough so I would have a reason for lots of them!! :cheer
  6. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend--I know from experance that she will love anything that you make her. I love your idea for the cofortghan and sage green is a great color chioce. You all are in my prayers.
  7. don't feel too bad if the walmart here stops selling yarn I'll have to drive 80 miles to buy yarn---I kid you not--I live in the boonies- :cry
  8. Oh Jozie you are going to really flip now! I have a HUGE collection of OOP cross stitch patterns and magazines!!! I don't cross stitch much anymore cause I have fybromyalgia and it is almost impossable for me to use the needle properly. So let me know if there are any certian type of patterns you need and I'll see if I have them!! I can't use them so at least I know they would have a good home. Hang on sister were goin' make it!! :rofl
  9. oh my goodness I know just what you mean! I have been on a pattern buying spree too and the only thing that stops me is lack of funds! I have 4 large binders full of free patterns all neatly placed in there very own plastic sheet protectors. right now I'm working on some charity projects that helps keep me busy and I get to use some of my patterns so I feel good about collecting them! I have no cure--my opion is that there is none! But what a way to go!!
  10. not sure that this is the right place for this but I'm looking for a 15" vinyl Dora doll---I can get one here at WM but I hoping that maybe someone has a used one that they could sell for cheap--I hate to even ask but money is tight right now so I can't afford to buy a new one. I want to make a wardrobe for her for my Doctors little girl--he has been so good and pateint with me through all my pain and depression I wanted to do something for him--his baby girl is the most important thing in his life so I thought that would be a good way to show him my appreciation. Ruth:hug
  11. I think afghans would be a wonderful idea--and maybe embrodiery yours and hubby name and wedding date in a corner of the afghan? They would be a real heirloom treasure!
  12. i guess i'm weird but the "knots" don't bother me --I think it gives my work a more "natrual" look you know a little roving --I mostly make afghans tho' so I suppose it wouldn't be so good if I were making clothing. I really haven't found that much problem with the RHSS as I have the CARON SS -- I have trouble with it splitting -- seems like it is not wound very well--but I still use it it is so soft and has a lovely shine.
  13. I love it! I'm a flower child myself so that is just b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l !! :cheer :cheer
  14. I am 50 also and I really understand what you mean --I feel like I'm falling apart too! I have fybromyalgia- a ganglia cyst in my right wrist--and degenrative disc disease---I use heat -ice packs-wrist brace ---but I am not about to stop crocheting!!! I just crochet when I can and rest when I need to. Just don't let the pain and the fact your getting older get you down---I did and I would never want anyone to go through what I have over the past few months. I read somwhere that the baby boomer generation (that's us) 50 is the new 30!!!Sounds good to me!! :hug :hug :hug
