Granny afghan dimensions??

How many squares across and down is a traditional granny afghan if the squares are 6"x6" each?

5 X 7 makes a nice size but if you want bigger, either make the squares bigger or do more squares.

There is a dimension which looks good so just lay them down on the floor and see what you think.

With 6" squares I usually do a 6x8 but it's all a matter of preference. Just lay it out and when you're happy with it, sew it together!

Just checking, are you ladies saying 5X7 feet [and 6X8 feet] or just 5 (6inch) squares by 7 squares?

5 squares by 7 squares for a baby blanket, using 6 inch or 8 inch squares.

I generally use 8 inch squares.
