I just ended up doing my scarf in DC without a pattern because I was too tired to look one up and just wanted to start it... I like the HDC pattern though. Mine is done in the SS yarn and very lose (I crochet lose anyway), so I like your HDC pattern.

 

Thanks for the pics of the other color houses! I took a quiz and I'm Hufflepuff and black and yellow doesn't look too bad...

thanks Debbi, well the scarves are pretty simple to make either way, with dc or hdc. I'm trying to think up another HP pattern to post. maybe potholders.
