anyone made the "pretty purse"?

i've made 2 of these (found it to be easier and larger than the ffb)..anyway, anyone made these???

 

the lining is the prob.

 

any suggestions?:think

I started making "That 70's Purse" (from the 2007 crochet Pattern a day calendar) this is the link to the designer's website: http://www.crochetallday.com

 

I believe the red purse in my pics is loosely followed from this pattern, but then I just started adjusting sizes and pattern stitches. I get bored rather easy!:blush :blush

 

I've never heard of the pretty purse and I've tried that fat bottomed bag but I hate doing the half herringbone crochet thingy. Granted I love the FBB's looks. Anyone out there do it in plain DC or HDC?

I would image you do the lining like most any other purse. Look at the Fat Bottom crochet along for links and suggestions to lining. Also I do believe several have made the Fat Bottom in regular double crochet.

 

I've made ten of the Fat Bottoms and love love them. I love the stitch used.

thanks Denise...yep i have that pattern from the 2007 calendar (somehow i did not look at the patterns more closely..i might try this one...and to the "pretty purse" it was on the coats and clarks website:)

The C&C purse is easy and fine to line. I've made a few. I'm planning on trying to make the next one in the round though since I hate sewing so **** much.
