Purse for my sister

I made this purse for my sister yesterday. I sewed in a liner today. I am impressed with myself. I even made pockets inside the purse to hold her little girls sippy cup, or what ever else she may want in there. (I made three pockets)

Here's the pic of the purse. My son liked to play with it too. I used Lion Brand Homespun. It's so soft. I just made it with dcs. And added a button to close it up. I didn't do good at sewing in the liner, but that's OK, it's not my specialty.

I also whipped up a cell phone holder for her. She can't ever find it in the bottom of her purse. My son loved that one too. I used scs for this one. I used left over yarn, so it doesn't really match. But Oh well.

Thanks, it was a variegated yarn so I didn't have to change colors.

I love it too. I made a scarf that would match your purse. Your little boy is so cute!! Great job. I love homespun. I have 2 skeins of cotton candy homespun that I haven't decided what to make yet. Your lining looks good to me.

I didn't really measure, but I think that it's a a couple inches over a foot wide. She likes big purses. This one is actually just her style.
