Lopi wool

I bought some of this lopi yarn today in color 417 to make a felted purse with... its a very pretty eggplant color, i think i'm going to buy some khaki colored batik print that i spyed while at JA's today to line it with.. now the hard will be wating til after the holidays! (It's Xmas yarn!)

I love this yarn...it's beautiful. It will make a wonderful purse/bag.

 

(Reynolds Lopi can be uncomfortable if worn next to the skin. I have some and plan to use it for a hat. I still want to try to use it for a cardigan-type sweater. I've read that the dk weight lopi is easier to wear. I haven't used the dk wt., so I don't know if that's true.

I really don't like working with Lopi - it makes the skin on my hands sore. There might be something in their dyeing or processing process that bothers me. I prefer Galway for felting.
