Favorite Square to Crochet?

I have the book 63 Easy-to-Crochet Pattern Stitches and the 63 More Easy to Crochet Pattern Stitches - so many squares! Curious to know if anyone has a favorite "square pattern" other than a granny square that you like to crochet. Puff stitches are pretty....

I keep going back to the Granny a la Harper. It just works for me.

I'm not sure if there is a name for this square or not. It's one that keeps cropping up and I've used it many, many times over the years. It's the first 5 rounds of Bobby's Square.

i am loving the lacy cross from 200 crochet blocks by jan eaton right now. and of course, the daisy square by krystal....now that i figured it out!

I don't think I've ever seen that one before, Darski!! I LOVE it!! It reminds me of a sunflower when done in several shades like they show on that page.
