Tunisian Crochet in Thread?

Why not? I know Pony brand makes really small Tunisian hooks, but I can't find anywhere online where they can be purchased in the states. I guess if you're not making anything really wide you can just use your regular hook. I'd love to see a photo of the results! Patty

Sounds neat to me, but keep in mind, that thread does not hide the color change as well as yarn does.

Hey, I use thread and make changes, but it is hard to hide the changes.:hook

I bought that book last year or was it 2 years ago.. I have already done crocheted :hook sample swatch after I bought it and love the look and feel and espically how it looks! I really thought it be hard to do but it is not. I have plans to be working with this stitch for a upcoming baby blanket..gotta buy the yarn first. Of all the yarns I have I do not have enough to even to think about crocheting it. So its yarn shopping for me. Probably will do over the net.

As for you wanting to know if you can do this in thread?? I say why not go for it...:yes
