Cat sweater on the Today show

[Crochet Nanny]

Did anyone else catch the sweater on the Today show this morning? A lady collected her long haired cats hair for 6 years, sent it to a company that spun it into yarn, and had a friend crochet it into a sweater! It was a really pretty color. The things we can crochet with!

I saw that. That was cool. I have a neighbor man with 5 cats. I am sure he would let me brush all the kitties for him.

I have a maine coone who is a huge, hairy cat and I love her dearly, but that did not appeal to me at all! But, truthfully, some of her hair is probably in every project I make anyway because she loves to sit with me while I crochet and play with my yarn:cat

I have to agree too.... It looked very pretty, but I kind of felt 'creepy' thinking about it. Just a strange thing to me. I too usually have cat hair in my yarn, so there is no explaination on why it gave me the willies so to speak. Lets not forget either. She said it cost $200.00 to have the fur spun into yarn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
