A bookmark (my first thread project)

(I wasn't sure if this ought to go here or in the current projects area--sorry if it's in the wrong place!)

 

Thanks again to everyone who gave advice about the thread project I'm thinking of! I was doing practice squares and it was really, really boring :zzz so I decided to hunt down a quick and easy looking pattern so I'd feel like I was accomplishing something while I practice at this.

 

I should've taken the picture against a dark background since my digital camera is old and doesn't take good pictures in the first place, but anyway here's how it came out:

 

Could've come out better, I think, but then it could've been worse, too!
