Well, I am getting my blog up...slowly 8o

I had a blog layout all set, then I saw these new graphics from Grace and changed all my graphics today. Then blogger wasnt working to publish my blog to my site, and was driving me nuts! I finally got it to work though and should be adding to the pages more these next couple of days! Let me know what you think, I was afraid the colors might be too dark?

I think it looks good. Easy to read and I love the sheep and chicken! I'll add the link to my blog. <img border=0 src="http://members.aol.com/dustkittys/thumbsup.gif" />

It's hard to tear away when you're working on a project, both on and off the computer.

You think that's fast - I'd already added your link to my blog before I posted the second time. I only wish I could fall asleep that fast at night! <img border=0 src="http://members.aol.com/dustkittys/sleeping.gif" />

Both bunnies are from Jocelyn at www.cutecrochet.com they were published by the Needlecraft Shop, not sure how many years ago? I received the pattern by permission from Jocelyn when she received permission from the Needlecraft Shop. I cant give the pattern away, but you could always ask Jocelyn. I dont know if she's allowed to give out the pattern to others, since it's copyrighted by the Needlecraft Shop when they purchased it from her. And all that mumbo jumbo stuff LOL

I hate telling people I cant share a pattern :( But it's really not mine to share. I will do a search for it though online, maybe someone is selling or giving away their old copy?!

I e-mailed Jocelyn today. She is really nice! :) I only asked her about Chelle's pink bunny, not the others. She said it was a leaflet called "Crochet Pillow Pets" published by The Needlecraft Shop in 1992.

She said be sure not to get it confused with another leaflet published by Red Heart Yarn that is called "Pillow Pets."

She said I might find it on eBay or I could try writing to:

Sounds good :Y I hope you can find a copy somewhere. The pillows are adorable..there's the pink bunny that I did, a bear, duck, lamb, and the purple cat in my album as well. The patterns actually call for a push button music button, so the pillows make music when you push the button. I didnt put any in mine though...couldnt find any in my craft stores at the time. Very cute pillow pets...Jocelyn is such a good designer!

For headers, buttons, etc:

Whatever blog service you're using should have instructions on how to get to your blog template, which you should be able to edit. If you've got your photos in photobucket.com, go to where it shows Url, Tag, and Img for the image you want to display. Copy what's in the Tag box. Paste that in your blog template where you want the image.

For photos in individual posts:

Do the same thing, but don't paste it in the template, paste it in your blog post.
