For Christmas last year I made a UNC striped ripple afghan for my SIL. When I posted pictures on my blog I said I would type up the directions if anyone wanted them, and I was shocked to find people did!

Thank you. I really like the way it turned out, but I thought that it was a fairly simple pattern. I guess, though, thinking of it, how many times have I said "Oh, a pattern for just what I wanted - no need to reinvent the wheel!" and used it as a really good jumping off spot so that I didn't have to do the math for myself

Beautiful afghan. You shouldn't be shocked. We need simple as well as complicated patterns. It also helps when they look as beautiful.

CrochetPatternCentral.com is by far and away the best resource for patterns online - if there is a pattern with a picture, Rachel has it linked. So why was I surprized to see a link to my own pattern when perusing the site?
