fast hookin jacket

my mother's bday is coming up and i am wanting to make her a jacket to wear at her office when it is cool..... something that will go over clothes comfortably and yet still nice enough to wear in front of her customers (bank).

my mom's kinda fluffy so nothing with a banded waist....

 

i've been looking around, but i want to get started right away, if anyone can point something out without me having to spend so much time looking for the right pattern would be great! :fc

This is really pretty, and it seems to be for "fluffy" gals. I don't know how fast it hooks up though.

it doesn't look quick at all, but my (ready for this) DAD went on a search and found this pattern --- on CPC of course!

 

he emailed it to me - what do you think of this one he says. i almost fell outta my chair!!

so i guess since he is taking an interest, i'll make the one he thinks she will like the best. wish me luck on the time factor :fc

That would surprise me too! All mine would say is "knit one, purl two" although he knows very well I'm crocheting, NOT knitting!!! It's just a joke of his. :thinking1

Rebecca, Im sorry I dont have the adult jacket pattern ready for you I have a lot of projects on my plate right now - the most important ones being the comfort afghan and lapghan, and an order from a customer who has already purchased from me twice and has made another order. I hope you can get something made for her in time!

Oh absolutely! I think once you make the jacket once, you can figure out how to make it larger when you have the actual model standing in front of you to size. Good job with the 7/8!
