yesterday my ds was watching ESPN, and they interviewed the sweetest football player named Ian Johnson who plays for Boise St. They asked him what he liked to do when he wasn't playing football... and he said I LOVE TO CROCHET THINGS FOR MY TEAM MATES!!!!

 

... whoo hoo! My son looked at me and said " don't even think about it"...humpf... anyhow... guess I'll stop cheering for the home team and switch my loyalties unless one of our guys takes up crochet...

 

.... AND.... I bet he uses acrylic yarns:P

Boise State won the Fiesta Bowl. Ian scored the winning 2 point conversion in double overtime. Then he purposed to his girlfriend! He has been teaching her how to crochet as well.
