PK bookmarks

I just got The Best of Patricia Kristoffersen from my Secret Pal and made up one of the coasters in #20 thread (Cebelia) instead of #10 and it made a great bookmark.

 

 

I want to get the 99 little doilies books she has then use it to practice smaller thread sizes but make bookmarks instead. They would make great impromptu gifts. #20 thread is so much slower than #10 so a bookmark gives more immediate results for impatient me.

What a great idea! I have never made doilies and have been eyeing PK's designs forever because they are so gorgeous...and intimidating looking to someone like me. Maybe I'll try that and make something tiny. After I'm done with your tea pot cozy, I mean...
