Sivi, I'm in Oak Park. (Sorry it took me so long to respond! I only just saw your post today.)

 

I've been trying to put together a crochet group for a couple of years, but the best I've done is to find a local knitting group that graciously let me sit in. It's not the same though (I don't knit at all).

 

What neighborhood are you in?

I'm in Downers Grove and my sister is in NW side of Chicago. We both crochet. I would love to join a group although right now I have 3 little ones under 3 all still in diapers! Not a lot of free time, but it will get better.

Ooh, ooh, me, me! I'm in Chicago! How can Chicago have so many people but so few crocheters? Is there a law banning crochet in city limits? Anybody in Chicago know of local groups? I'm on the south side of Chicago.
