I just finished this item for a friend, using Aunt Lydia's cotton...

That's nice! I have never made a dish towel yet. Do they work pretty good?

I like these! And yours is really nice.....I am debating the color, I really like the white, But I am afraid it will get grubby fast....on the other hand white can be bleached...so what do you think ....Is white a good color? Why did you chose it?

Hi Debbie,

The color of the towel is actually a light blue - it didn't come thru in the picture 'cause it's so light. I bought the cotton yarn on sale for a very low price - it so happened that my friend had just gotten her kitchen redone - in blue, so....

The next one I make would be in a darker color, I think. On the other hand, white goes with everything, and I'd probably use bleach alternative to preserve the cotton fibers....
