Yarn Recalls for Sirdar & Bernat

 

Both Sirdar and Bernat are recalling yarns due to their flammable nature. If you have purchased the yarns listed they ask for them to be returned. Sirdar will replace the skeins with the new version of the yarn,

Bernat is offering a refund. Both are asking for the skeins and any items made with the yarn. Please visit their websites for more information.

OMG, thank you Jewels for posting that! Now I've seen everything, I never imagined that there could be such a thing as a yarn recall! Thanks for looking out for all of us. I don't have any of those yarns but if I did I'd sure want to know about the recall!

I've made 3 shoulder wraps with Bernat's fur out yarn. Two were gifts. For some reason, I can no longer get into the Bernat website. I registered there. I used to print out some of their patterns. Now, all of a sudden, I can't get in there. So I wonder what I should do about this yarn that I've used since I can't get to the info about the recall.
