Stargazer Site--Groovy Crochet

Does anyone know what happened to Stargazer and why the site isn't being maintained? It seems as if all the photos have expired. I know that when I first logged on in 1999, everything was working fine. That site has so many fantastic patterns. Just curious, I guess.

From what I have heard (indirect sources) Martha's (aka Stargazer's) first husband died and I heard she remarried. Not sure if she is on the internet. I DO know there have been updates to her sites in the past two years.

 

As for Groovy crochet, it went down around 2000 (something about a major hacking attack?) and is only available in the web archives.

 

Hope somebody has more current (reliable!) information for you...

Someone had queried about Martha's site on a crochet email list I'm on, and she replied. Here is what she said:

 

Yep, my site is still up although right now I am trying to get all 300 pages updated. I have managed to get al the links that were re-direting people to porn sites removed, now I just have to finish fixing the broken links. 8~)) It sure would be nice to have all the pages working correctly for a day or two!
