Tweed Clutch

Hi,

 

I made the Tweed Clutch from Interweave Crochet for a friend for Christmas. Has anyone else made it? I found it really easy to make. When I make another one, I think the only alteration would be to make the strap a little longer so it would be easy to sling across the body. And I never did find a buckle that I liked, so I put some velcro on the strap to keep it from flapping open. You can see (not great) photos here.

I bought the magazine this weekend and marked that project as one of the ones I want to make. Yours looks great! What kind of yarn did you use?

I wish I could remember the name of the yarn. It was a very fancy $10 per skein tweed, and I bought three skeins, so it wasn't cheap.
