Hook size?

Do you guys use a larger hook to crochet the items you felt?

 

I crochet pretty tight... so I was curious if I should use a larger hook..... Thanks!

I usually do; I also crochet very tightly.

 

Try a swatch both ways if you want to see how it looks. Maybe you'll like the look better with the regular-sized hook vs the larger hook (sometimes I do). It'll make a difference in how much it shrinks as well.

 

I am big on swatching these days...

Yes use a bigger hook. If it is loose it gives the yarn room to move around and felt.
