Started making one for dil but I'm using a thicker cotton.  My coaster is 6 inch from point to point.  Was just studying knitpicks cotton yarn(thinner than PnC, but I don't want to buy any more yarn.  Might just make it all bigger.  So cute.

The flower one had my eye for a gift for mom either her birthday or Mother's day next year.

Worked better to make center of coaster with Dishie I had in stash. Leaves made with sport acrylic Brava. Basket made with Dishie yarn and a worsted brown yarn-held together.
