Dachshund???

I followed this pattern and used all the sizes they say to use, but????

This is a Dachshund or is suppose to be.  I am thinking this person who made the pattern, is not sure what certain breeds look like.  They have a collie with fur only around the head?  Well, I tried.

If you look hard you can kind of see a doxy.  Ears, body and tail need to be longer,  you did a good job, even though the designer is a little confused on her dog breeds.

I can see that's a dachshund. I've never seen one with a docked tail before though. They are such cute dogs. I give you an A+ for effort. I know my grt-grands would love this dog. Maybe there's another pattern out there you'd like better.

Thank you both.  I googles a picture of this breed and saw what she missed.  I have another pattern that is longer body and I think longer tail.  It is knitted, so off to have some fun.
