Hi,  I am a 61 year old guy who is retired and just took up Crochet a few weeks ago. Never too old as the saying goes. I have yet to finish an actual project yet. Still working on stitches, turning work correctly, counting stitches, consistent tension, etc.  My first project will be a cotton pot holder. Nice and small to start. Then I would love to make a hat for my daughter (adult). The circular stuff still scares me! Anyway, I am sure I will have questions.

Hi, I am a 72 year old crocheter and knitter.  I much rather crochet now that I'm up in years, as knitting can be overwhelming sometimes when you are interrupted.  I absolutely love to make baby items, they are quick and enjoyable and everyone loves to received something for their new child, grandchild, etc.

Pot holders and dish clothes are a great way to learn stitches and practice tension. Perfectly useable even if they aren't "perfect".
