I am a new grandmother and great grandmother.  I am making a single bed blanket with 6” squares.  Crocheting half and knitting half. I want to make several 12 x 6” panels in the shell pattern and some in the poofie pattern but I am clueless how to do this.  I can do the shell and poof but how do I continue with the next rows. HELP PLEASE

Welcome to Crochetville and congrats on new grandchild. It sounds like you are not using a pattern --is that correct?  Also there are multiple shell patterns and by poofie do you mean popcorn or bobbles?  There are multiples of those also.  There are multiple choices for next rows when not following a specific pattern.  We are going to need more info before we can help.
