Strange Search

Jamie Cosgrove

Question

I crocheted a bag for my cousin and took it into Starbucks where she works to give it to her. One of her coworkers saw it and thought it was awesome and asked if I could crochet her a bag.

She asked if I could crochet a chicken wing or a bottle of vodka. I told her it would depend on if I could find a pattern.

So, anyone seen a pattern for either of these? I might even be able to modify it into a bag, but right now I'm having trouble finding patterns for those items as is.

welcome to the ville!

:lol I have to agree, this is kind of a strange search!

I'm not sure if you want to make a bag in the shape of one of these things, or if you want to find an applique to put on a normally shaped bag?

Here is a chicken wing.

Here are two bottles at Ravelry.  If you aren't a member, you have to sign up.

Maybe you can fiddle and make a vodka bottle from one or both patterns.

Here is a wine bottle:

And a soda bottle:

I hope these all help some.  Good Luck!

Trying to make the bag in one of the shapes, yes. And now that I think of it, I'm not really sure how I could do that and have the bag keep it's shape.

Thank you for searching, by the way. I haven't given up on the idea yet.

Hmmm. If you make a bottle, the shape wouldn't be hard, but you couldn't get a hand down into the bag. :lol  :lol  :lol

A bottle on its side?
