Amigurumi chili pepper

Hi all!

 

Thank you in advance for any help! so Im making a single st giant chili pepper and I cant quite figure out how to make it curve for the end bit. I started doing increases on the first half of each round and decreases on the other and i got it to start curving but now I dont see how i would get it to sort of curve even more like a tube and decrease to finish it in a point?

I think i would try to only decrease on one side, stop doing any increases.  also you can do more decreases per row to make it taper more sharply.

Thanks! Looking at the pictures should I decrease on the inner curve or the outter?

notice on the "octopus leg' it says to make shorter sts on the inner curve---that seems like it should work really well.

Ooo good article! It looks like instead of increasing or decreasing i would have to maybe use double sts on one side and single on the other to make it curve ????
