Question

Good Morning!

I need some assistance! I was trying to make a Aran Toggle Wrap from redheart.com! And the very 1st stitch that it had me making was a Mock Seed Stitch! Can someone please help me & maybe possibly show me what this is suppose to look like front & back! I was starting to second my guess myself so I have put it aside & I am thinking about using the yarn for something else! I would for some input if anyone can!

It is alternating front post and back post DCs.  It's going to look sort of bumpy, basket-weavey.

Have you checked the video? I just looked at the first few seconds, and the first green swatch is that stitch pattern; then she continues on the piece to show you how to make it--but only a couple of stitches, it doesn't look like she shows the back.

I don't think I've seen the alternated FP and BP stitches called mock seed stitch before. But they are just saying that the pattern you get with row 2 & 3 is the mock seed stitch. I didn't have a J hook handy and used an I.

I don't know how well you can see the stitches...I tried with flash and without...but this is the wrong side:
