I haven't been around here in ages...but, here is a link for free animal hats...there is a group on FaceBook called For the Love of Crochet, Friendship and Charity

...they are currently working on hats to send to the Preemie Project in Iowa, but you are free to donate hats to your local hospital.

These patterns will be free through the month of June...all Kimberlie asks is that you donate at least one hat to the project/your local NICU, then you are free to sell what you make.

I finally was able to donate my hats to our local NICU. Had in all, with 4 being the animal hats. An owl in blues, a pig, a frog and a little yellow chick. One of the nurses has a granddaughter coming in September and she asked if I could do an owl in pink for her!
