  4. I finally was able to donate my hats to our local NICU. Had in all, with 4 being the animal hats. An owl in blues, a pig, a frog and a little yellow chick. One of the nurses has a granddaughter coming in September and she asked if I could do an owl in pink for her!
  5. Please join me at http://www.facebook.com/ScrappinMagicCrochet to find out how you can get this pattern set for only $5 until Monday, August 5, 2013. I will be releasing it on Monday night at Ravelry, Craftsy and Etsy and the price will then be $12.99 for all 3 pieces in one pack, or you can purchase individual patterns for $5.99 (top and skirt each) and 2.99 for the purse. This is my original design and has been tested by others for quality of content.
  6. I haven't been around here in ages...but, here is a link for free animal hats...there is a group on FaceBook called For the Love of Crochet, Friendship and Charity https://www.facebook.com/groups/160946604085786/?hc_location=stream ...they are currently working on hats to send to the Preemie Project in Iowa, but you are free to donate hats to your local hospital. These patterns will be free through the month of June...all Kimberlie asks is that you donate at least one hat to the project/your local NICU, then you are free to sell what you make. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/animal-faces-combo-pack I've done 3 of them so far and they are the cutest things! You can ship your hats here: The Preemie Project Zoo in the NICU Hat & Bootie Drive PO Box 1310 Iowa City, IOWA 52244

  14. very ingenious! gives me an idea to use with my granddaughters!
  15. I found the pattern for the lights online, but they didn't have the ends so I can add more strings, or plug them in to light them up, so I added them! LOL!
