Interesting question!  Hook sizes seem to be getting a lot of discussion right now.  I don't know of such a chart.  It could become outdated quickly if a manufacturer decided to make a change.

I would have thought that Boye and Bates would be following the Craft YArn Council standards for hook sizes http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/hooks.html which lists G as 4mm, but Boye's G is apparently 4.25mm.  http://www.simplicity.com/p-1270-6-aluminum-crochet-hook-size-g.aspx  and also in the CrochetDude line http://www.simplicity.com/p-7781-the-crochet-dude-aluminum-crochet-hook-size-g.aspx

Bates is 4mm http://www.shopredheart.com/default.aspx?PageID=62&CategoryID=42&ProductID=2064&RootCatCode=03000 in the Silvalume and Quicksilver http://www.shopredheart.com/default.aspx?PageID=62&CategoryID=42&ProductID=2160&PPG=1&RootCatCode=03000

Just from my personal experience, crochet hook manufacturers do not adhere to any rules about size--they seem to think that "somewhere close" is good enough!  I even have several K hooks from both Bates and Boye, that differ in size from hook to hook!  It must depend on what year they were manufactured!!  There are size comparison charts in several of the crochet magazines on the news stands.

Although by no means complete, you may find the one currently on my blog helpufl for "aluminum.

There is also one for Steel

Keep in mind that with the exception of the Japanese, there are no official standards, just suggestions, and from time to time manufacturer's do change "designation".

Hope this Helps
