Hook help needed

I have a fairly small Susan Bates style aluminum hook.  It is marked MADE 2 U.S.A  Do you think this is a size B hook.  It is identical to a Susan Bates style hook.

I just found this chart online: http://www.coatsandclark.com/Products/Accessories/Crochet/Coats+and+Clark+Hook+Conversion+Chart.htm and it seems like it might be a size C hook, or 2.75 mm based on this chart.

You will need to measure the diameter of the barrel/shaft.  Once you the mm you can look at charts and detemine, based on brand, what Letter it might be. (and that designation can vary from brand to brand even within a brand over time. )

You can measure the diameter of the hook end by placing it against a mm ruler and eyeballing it.  Not exact, but to be exact you'd need a vernier caliper.
