Darski for sharing this story. It was fascinating. I loved how the husband of one of the knitters took pictures and then worked for hours figuring the scale of each building and making a cardboard replica. What memories that couple shared. I agree with the other posters that it is a shame it is to be broken up and sold. A place in a museum would be so much more fitting.
