Ever have the need to cast a spell while crocheting? Or, on the other hand, have you ever had an urge to crochet something while you're casting a spell?

I made one of these at the request of a very famous crocheter, who wanted to know if such a thing was possible and if so could i make one as a gift for her daughter. Well, I'm loth to shirk a challenge... and the daughter LOVED the wand/hook. And then I had a request pour in for another.... and since the last auction was so much fun........

Very cool, and different! I was actually reminded of Harry Potter wands by your earlier hook with the inlaid stone in the end. You may be on to something!

Thanks! Know what? I actually crocheted with the hookus part and almost made a swatch of single crochet. MUST be some magic in that hook, eh?
