Very nice! I did something like that for the seat lid a while ago - couldn't find what I wanted, so just made it. What a good feeling! Maybe I should make a tank lid cover too, you inspire me.

 

Be careful adding the fish applique - they might make the surface lumpy.

Thanks, and yes, I thought about those cute little round fishies, but you are right, lumpy, so will probably forego some cuteness, and leave off the fishies! ANd you should try it, was fairly simple, just went with my gut you know, and it came out great!

well hi all, just thought i would add a note to this, I recently got a brand new stool here, and this cover no longer fits, so looks like Ill have to either make one that does fit, or something, lol Now if only I could remember how i did it, but this tank top is a curved sort of one anyway, so old pattern directions woudn't work anyway,,,,,woe is me, huh!!!! Maybe Ill just get used to it being plain and white! lol

well thank you all. I have since gotten a new stool and tank, soooooooo now it won't fit, looks like Ill have to get that color out again, lol
