Washcloths

I just finished a few washcloths for the bath. I've made some knitted ones for the kitchen and I love how they lather up. I'm tired of using terry washcloths that fray after a few launderings. I'm making the bath ones in white so I don't use them for the kitchen. These are just popcorn stitch in baby sport yarn I found in a box in my closet. LOL!

I used one tonight in the bath. It's a scrubbie, alright. Keeps the lather, too.

 

I was right to use the acrylic.

 

I hope they stay together in the wash as well as my other projects.

They are nice... the acrylic doesn't stretch when wet?.. I've always wondered about that.. I'll have to try making one... GBU!:)

Nice, I use them too, and found they hold up really well.

 

I make square (like a face cloth) for the bathroom, and round ones(like a plate) to use in the kitchen. Makes it easy to sort them when I'm folding laundry... I just have to look at the shape to figure out where they go.

I've never used acrylic for washcloths - can you let us know how they hold up?
