Goddess Shawl (Maria Merlino)

I made this shawl at the weekend for a friend of mine. I hope to surprise her with it at the weekend as a Beltane gift

 

 

 

This is the second time I have made this patten, the first time with no understanding whatsoever of filet crochet so there were mistakes that I was happy NOT to have repeated in this version

The yarn is Stylecraft Twirl DK in apple green. I'm not sure about whether to fringe it or not at the moment - I don't have to decide for another few days *lol*

Um...Beltane was May 1. Maybe it's a Solstice gift? The summer solstice is June 21 this year.

 

Or maybe it's a late Beltane gift!
