New Glade Commerical

I am watching Big Brother 6, crocheting up a storm and reading new posts and the new commerical comes on. It started with this lady showing crocheted cover ups for air fresheners. I was like :cheer:cheer:clap:clap:clap:clap new crochet show or web site. Then it showed the new glade product:eek:eek:eek:eek. I thought the cover ups were so darn cute, that I rather learn to make one than buy their over priced "pretty" one.

I am off to find patterns for the covers, so I can make one for my air fresheners myself. I first one they showed.

Is the commercial for actual crocheted covers for the air fresheners? If so I'll have to look for them in the store.......not to buy one, but to see how I could copy it and make my own

I was kinda ticked at that commercial. It said something about not having to cover things up. And what they showed was UGLY!! The bunny thing. it was so stereotypical....I wasn't happy at all.

A repeat of what I said in the other discussion about the glade commercial - but, then, think of how many will want to crochet their own air freshener covers LOL!

 

I thought it was cute, too..but so many have worked so hard to push crochet to the front in terms of fashion and also as a hobby..I do think we need to at least write to Glade and ask that they show the 'hip' young women crocheting as they display the new airfreshener containers?

OMG I just saw this commercial and it's AWFUL! I'm totally offended. That's so not like us!
