Hooded Scarf - Diagonal box stitch

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I didn't really use a pattern, and was almost positive there are patterns for this already. So in my true lazy nature, rather then type up what I did, I checked http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/scarves.php and there are 2 patterns for the Diagonal Box scarf. The one titled Diagonal Blocks Scarf is how I made the body of the scarf.

To make this into the hooded scarf, I didn't start the decreasing on one side until I had 13 blocks across the diagonal (approx 10 inches wide along the base). I continued until I had a length of 74 inches. I then folded it in half and stiched it along one side to about 10 inches from the fold line. Of course all these measurements were my personal preferences (I have a big noggin).

I kept the edging to a simple 5 dc in each ch 3 sp around the scarf, except the corners I used 7 dc.

I used Caron WW yarn (1 pounder) and my J hook. I will use my K hook next time to see if I can give it a little softer drape.

Hope this isn't too confusing and makes some kind of sense.
