Hi,

The ones in the pictures look like they are knit? They are pretty I like those too. Maybe check Annies Attic new catalog, It has a nice set of patterns for flower headbands and flower hats, I just ordered that pattern. I don't know where you live but here the flower headbands are popular.

Good luck,

Y.Marie

They were examples. I'm sure she is looking for the crochet version. ;)

Here is a free pattern:

These two are free, just add your favorite flower:

There are a lot more at Ravelry, a lot are for purchase. Just go to patterns and type in ear warmers.

I like the ones that widen across the head and ears, however, I just made my daughter one that is medium width all around and it's way cute too- I think it has to do a lot with the yarn you use and what look you want. I don't know how to post pictures just yet but I used like a mini pom pom yarn with a thin varigated yarn and so it's like uneven bubbly and it's adorable! I will take some pictures tonight since we will be testing it out in our Utah FREEZING 0 deg weather!!!

Okay, I am having a 'blind" moment. that happens occasionally when you are blind! My sister-in-law told me of a flowered headband that is wider in the front and taper down to ties in the back. I don't know if any of these patterns do that, but wondered if anyone has seen them. you add the flower to the wide part that goes above the forehead. she said they are very cute and selling for close to $20 in utah. I haven't been able to find these. any ideas?

This thread is a year old. You can tell by looking above the poster's name in the blue bar. There will be a date.

As to your question, I'm not completely sure without working one up.

It looks to be made in one long piece. Maybe you could work the main part and go back adding the sides working them they way the button ends are made, only longer. Do the joining row and few after as decreases.

Hope that makes sense.
