crochet sucess

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I asked my daughter if she wants to learn to crochet? and she did, she is 14.

She learned the slip stitch, and she can do the chain (a little to tight) and she caught on to the single stitch :clap

today she picked up a hook and yarn and sat in her room, she made a dish cloth. she chained 20, and she kept it going with each rows have the same amount of stitches till the end she ended up with 17 LOL

she is so proud and so am I :c9

That is so nice! My Mom taught me too, but I didn't give it a try until I was around 28. Now I wish I had started sooner!

rut roh!!your stash is gonna get raided now.. lol.

congrats to her on learning so quickly though. it will add to your mother/daughter time...the picking patterns, yarn out... having personal stitch togethers. etc

Awesome! It's amazing how fast people can pick up on things. :) And it's easier when they're older. I had a friend that I taught to crochet and she actually learned how to make granny squares the first night! :lol I was completely jealous, because I was an impatient child and it took me a while to get there.
