A couple of Seraphinas

I made a couple of Seraphina shawls to give away as Prayer Shawls at my church. My wife is going to make a nice hand-made card to give with them. I made on from Jo-Ann's Sensations Rainbow Boucle, the other I made from Sensations Rainbow classic. It only took about a week to make both shawls, I truly love this pattern, thanks so much to Doni for creating it and Amy S for getting permission to post the re-worked version here -- I never could have done it without the re-worked pattern.

Oh they are beautiful! I have tried the Seraphina pattern a BAZILLION times and I just can't seem to catch on to it. I am an experienced crocheter (30+years) and it just doesn't click.

Yeah me too, it's almost like the Rainbow Boucle was especially made for the Seraphina pattern. It just works up so beautifully in the stripes. It was frightfully hard to get used to though. I ended up using an M hook just so I could see my stitches;)
