  1. Thanks for the kind words everybody! Those of you who have the book and have yet to complete it, this is certainly worth the effort. Especially if you need practice with front and back post stitches because there are a number of squares that use them.
  2. Absolutely stunning! I love those colors.
  3. I love those crochet quilt designs at that Happy Yellow House, yours turned out excellent!
  4. I've had this book for a long time and finally got around to doing it. I used Red Heart solids in, Aruba Sea, Raspberry, and Aran colors. This was fun to do and I learned some things and improved my stitching ability. Though I don't think I'll do another one of these for a long time. I am giving this to a nice couple at our church that deserve to have something nice.
  5. Thank you everybody for the kind words!
  6. Thanks everybody for the kind comments.
  7. Excellent job, I've been crocheting for years and never have completed a whole graph-ghan yet. I used to love the Thundercats...great job!
  8. Wow that's fantastic, green is my favorite color, great job!
  9. That butterfly afghan was made by my mother-in-law and it's her own pattern she made up. She doesn't read patterns she just makes them up in her head. She is going to teach it to me so I can write it down though.
  10. I made this for a young lady at church who has been battling cancer. I used Jo-Ann's Sensations Rainbow Boucle in the green and white colors. This yarn seems so perfect for these shawls that way it makes the striped pattern.
  11. I made this as a gift for the Pastor of our church. I really wanted a good excuse to use the Red Heart Peruvian Print yarn. I combined it with some coordinating Red Heart solids and I think it turned out pretty good.
  12. Beautiful job on the 5 pointed star-ghan, love those colors!
  13. That's great! He will always love it because he got to choose the colors and because you made it for him. I still have a granny ghan my grandma made me over 40 years ago!
  14. Yeah me too, it's almost like the Rainbow Boucle was especially made for the Seraphina pattern. It just works up so beautifully in the stripes. It was frightfully hard to get used to though. I ended up using an M hook just so I could see my stitches;)
